Content cloud with unlimited storage and built-in e-signatures from the Business tier up
Prices verified October 30, 2026 on the vendor's site
Overview
Box is a business content platform rather than a consumer sync service, and it shows in the plan design. The cheap entry points — a free 10 GB Individual plan, Personal Pro and Business Starter — cap storage, upload size, versions and monthly Box Sign requests. From the Business tier ($15 per user per month on annual billing, three-user minimum) storage becomes unlimited, e-signature requests become unlimited and Box AI is included, along with a large integrations catalogue and API quota. Higher tiers add external-collaboration limits, compliance support (HIPAA, FedRAMP Moderate) and advanced workflows. For a small team that needs proper permissions and signing in the same tool, Business is the realistic starting point.
Who it's for
Small and mid-sized teams in regulated or client-facing work — law, accounting, healthcare administration — that need granular permissions, compliance support and built-in signing, and companies that expect to connect storage to other apps through the API.
