Overview

Sejda PDF is a set of PDF tools offered both in the browser (Sejda Web) and as an installable app (Sejda Desktop) for Mac, Linux and Windows. It covers editing existing text, fill and sign, form creation, merging, splitting by bookmarks, size or text, compression, OCR, conversion to and from Office, Bates numbering and multi-step workflows. Both versions are free with limits: online tasks are capped at about 50 pages or 50 MB and 3 tasks per hour, and the free desktop app at 3 tasks a day. Paid options are unusually flexible. A $5 one-time Web Week Pass or a $7.95 Desktop Week Pass gives 7 days of access with no auto-renewal. Web Monthly is $7.50, and the $63 Annual plan bundles Web and Desktop. Perpetual licenses are no longer sold.

Who it's for

People with an occasional burst of PDF work who would rather buy a one-week pass than subscribe, and privacy-minded users who want desktop processing on Mac or Linux. IT teams can roll out Desktop with MSI and volume keys, and the tool works under Citrix or Terminal Services.
